Reviewing the Touch In Sol No PoreBlem Primer

Howdy, people. As I was strolling through Sephora and made my pilgrimage to the Korean beauty/skincare section, my eyes caught a tiny little pink bottle of primer humbly sitting on the shelves, calling to me. I was starting to run low on the primer I had at home anyway so I picked up the Touch In Sol No PoreBlem Primer.

Touch In Sol No PoreBlem Primer Description

At 30 ml (1.01 fl oz), the No PoreBlem Primer is the primer on offer from Korean beauty company, Touch In Sol. Touch In Sol isn't one of the more globally famous KBeauty brands so I was a little surprised to find it at Sephora. I was even more surprised that Sephora was selling something for just $18 but there it was, sitting there being $18. You can get this product on Amazon for $13 but I think we should not dismiss the fact that you can get your instant gratification on by zooming over to your local Sephora and picking this up.The product comes in a glass pump bottle and has a pink tone to it. Its claim is that its lightweight and silky texture will smooth over the appearance of pores and fine lines. The feel and texture of this primer reminds me of the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. I would consider this a possible dupe except that the Hourglass primer has SPF 15 and the Touch In Sol primer does not. (Sidebar: Was actually surprised the Touch In Sol primer did not have SPF. Most Korean base products do.)The texture is silky and slick without feeling oily or sticky. The finish after applying foundation on top is natural. The primer is formulated with green tea extract which acts as an antioxidant and fights inflammation. Also, beware that primer is fragranced so if you're particularly sensitive to perfumes and fragrances, take that into consideration.

Touch In Sol No PoreBlem Primer Pros

I have to say that the silky primer texture is one that is so different and so rare in the makeup game that it completely takes me by surprise every time. Applying something slick and silky on my face leads me to expect it to be oily but that's not what happens at all. The product glides onto your skin and evens out the texture of your skin so that foundation can apply smoothly on top.Less is also definitely more with this product. The instructions say to apply a thin layer on the face and I would definitely heed this advice. One pump was enough for me and using too much made it feel messy to me.Using this primer also had a more mattifying finish than other primers I have. I would not say the finish is totally matte but more of natural skin finish. I've also found that when using this primer, my face doesn't tend to get as oily throughout the day which I really appreciated.

Touch In Sol No PoreBlem Cons

Maybe the largest drawback for me was that the primer kinda smells rubbery. It's not an overwhelming smell and it definitely doesn't linger but definitely, when I first smooth it out on my face, I get a whiff of something like the eraser on a pencil. It's a little weird. That's really the only negative I can find about the product. I don't have any overwhelming objections to it other than it smells weird and the texture isn't something I'm used to.

Touch In Sol No Poreblem Primer Final Recommendations

I like it. I'm not somersaulting and jumping for joy excited over it but the product does what it intended to do. You also need so little of it when you do use it that I can forsee this lasting quite a while. The slick silky texture is still a little weird to me since I'm used to my primers having a more lotion-ey feel to them. I always expect it to feel oily and it isn't.Overall, I think it's a good product. If you're looking to see what a silky primer feels like, this would be a good choice. At $18 (or $13 if you go the Amazon route), it's not bad at all. I'll probably keep using it as I have no objections to it. It's alright.

I hope that was helpful, you guys! I hope you go forth and conquer!
