The original is a bit thick and can be really obvious. Invisible+ is really thin and I’ve been able to wear it out and about without feeling self-conscious about it. This works very well at making sure opened or burst pimples have a germ-free environment so that they can heal easily and quickly. The usual way I use a pimple patch is after washing and toning my face before bed, I pop on a patch on the offending area. After a night’s sleep, I woke up the following morning with the pimple flat, not irritated, and barely noticeable. It’s a very easy process. One caveat to that is this all depends on how big your pimple is. When I’ve used this on large pimples, putting on the patch overnight healed it a little but that pimple is still very much there and noticeable the next morning. I’ve always had pretty deep under eyes and they’ve been pretty dark for as long as I can remember. This is a genetic thing, I think. I do notice my parents have pretty noticeable under eyes as well. I don’t expect any eye cream to change my genetics either. So what do I use my eye creams for? For hydration, mostly. To make sure my under-eye skin isn’t dry and itchy. To be frank, I do use it so that my eye makeup applies easier. Have I noticed a difference in skin condition after being religious about eye cream? Not really. Does my makeup apply better? Yes, it does. But my body is different than other people’s. An eye cream might work miracles on your eyes, wrinkles, or its darkness. From my own experience though, I haven’t seen a difference. What beauty tools can you keep in a skincare fridge? The only beauty tools I keep in my skincare fridge are sheet masks. I love a nice and cool sheet mask. It feels soothing on the skin. I have a gua sha also but I don’t keep this skincare tool in my mini-fridge. In traditional Chinese medicine, cold tools are generally not used on the skin so I keep my gua sha at room temperature. Should you keep perfumes in a skincare fridge? I’ve learned fairly recently (after getting gifted a very nice fragrance) that perfumes are best stored chilled. The best place to store a fragrance is in a cool, dark place where the temperature is constant. A refrigerator is a great place to store perfumes and can help lengthen the life of the fragrance. What not to keep in a skincare fridge? As a general rule, I don’t keep oil-based and clay skincare items in my skincare fridge. Chilling these items can change the intended consistency of these skincare items.
